As far as I know there is no real social structure at all. Just mob rule, enforced by violence. At least when you belong to a tribe it may get rough but the members take care of each other without being forced to. And it's not just the loss of a dictator, either, that will lead to chaos. It just occurred to me that two dictators, Arafat and Castro, are probably on their last legs. Yet it's very unlikely that the Cubans are going to be at each others throats fighting for power the way the Palestinans will be. The West Bank and Gaza will be as bad as Yugoslavia.
