Washington is loaded with liberals in the western part of the state. I do most of my messaging on SI. Simply don't have time for much else. There are several Kerry signs in our neighborhood and no Bush signs. Our closest local friends are Kerry supporters, and I have to avoid talking politics with them because I value their friendship. Patty Murray, our wacked out congresscritter, is running for the senate. She's the nutcase that admired Osama bin Laden for building schools and daycare facilities, because we haven't done that. Scuttlebutt is she's ahead. To be, it is simply unbelievable that anyone could support such a person. I wrote her a letter and got a non-response response. Nethercutt, her opponent, sent me a very good response.
