Roosevelt added more debt in 16 years than any other President or leader in the history of the world. We're still paying for Roosevelt...see mandatory spending programs to tune of 1600 Billion per year. Thats four times Natial Defense Spending.

Unlike Clinton, Bush dealt with the Clinton's burst bubble of stock market irrational exuberance, a subsequent Clinton recession, the terror of 9/11, and productivity improvements. History will treat Bush very well on his economic policies. If only you were wise enough to recognize that now.

Kudos for admitting that Clinton set records with the public debt. Some of your left-wing compatriots swear - falsely - that he reduced it.
