I have a feeling some great little dog will just enter my life one of these days. Probably come out of a cardboard box in front of a grocery store. I really like mutts, and I don't want to pay for a pure bred. I did see an ad for litter of dachshunds in the Little Nickle when I stopped in Kalama WA last time I drove to Vancouver WA. They wanted $50.00 each for the puppies. I really should have gone and looked, but I was on my way to stay with some friends, and I doubt they would have appreciated the potty training routine. It wasn't meant to be. Thanks for the recommendations. You can lose that extra weight if you really want to.
