Read something interesting that many Chinese now expect RMB appreciation and they want get rid off the US$ in their hands. In the last couple of days, over US$2 million have been exchanged back to RMB in one single branch of CBOC in JiangSu Province. And the bank is trying to explain the exchange rate is not going to change yet, but no one listen. So the bank has to set a temp. rule that each person can only sell US$10,000/day to the bank. Talk about excessive US$<g>
