No one credible had ever challenged the assertion. Some day you will learn to challenge assertions yourself before accepting them. Ken Lay has been in the news a lot, and if he had been Clinton's busom buddy that fact would have been reported over, and over, and over. It wasn't. That should have clued you in that the story warrented closer examination. TP

When I started repeating the claim, it was merely that Ken Lay had slept in the Lincoln Bedroom [during the Clinton Administration]. The eleven times claim was bolstered by another link I encountered later. Interesting the source you cite is: bop2004.org That's a site about the candidates for the 2004 election. Hard to imagine why they would be covering the Clinton Administration for the 2004 election. And a search over their web site doesn't come up with any archived files that would match. Are you positive that's the source? jttmab
