Hello GST,

no longer any standards enforced here

Yes, it's largely true but perhaps not in the way you think. As the political season heated up and the discussion of foreign affairs and politics became increasingly intertwined. I wrestled with the problem of how to draw a line between the two but, IMO, the boundary would be so difficult to sharply define that everyone here would likely end up on my $%#-list without even trying. In addition, I have neither the interest nor the time to make such difficult (impossible?) dissections.

Bottom line? Treat your fellow posters with respect, make a nodding reference foreign affairs, and you'll be just fine. (I think everyone can agree, name calling is pretty easily identified.)

After the election and the court challenges are over, we will return to using the stricter definitions of ON/OFF TOPIC as listed in the header.

Is everybody happy? :o)

Best regards,
