I wonder if they allow news cameras in the polling stations. I expect there will be some brawls taking place on 2 Nov and it will make great international news. When asked by Newsnight for an explanation of the list, Republican spokespersons claim the list merely records returned mail from either fundraising solicitations or returned letters sent to newly registered voters to verify their addresses for purposes of mailing campaign literature. I just happened to call my county election board yesterday because I had not received the sample ballot the county sends out in advance of the election. After verifying my name and address, they said that I did not receive the ballot because it was returned as non-deliverable. Pretty odd since I've been receiving mail at that address since 1987. jttmab
