I think you will both be proven right over time. Today a much higher than reported inflation in basic things we need everyday (food, gas, medical,education, insurance, real estate taxes) and skyrocketing asset values primarily in residential real estate from excess liquidity and steep yield curve. Someday the forces of deflation from things we want produced in 3rd world countries and the cleansing of excess debt levels built up over the past several years will rule probably soon after the currency collapse and sharply higher interest rates come to center stage. Just the next stage in this rolling depression that might make the telecom implosion look like a walk in the park.
