Fortunately, the trial lawyers are all Kerry supporters, and will be playing man-to-man coverage on the republican "poll-watchers" (=brownshirts). It's pretty hazardous to disrupt a polling station line when there's a Harvard lawyer with a Kerry button and a video camera standing next to you.

The grass-roots mobilization of Democrats for next Tuesday is unprecedented. A friend called me yesterday, she's a penniless grad student, she scammed the money and she's off to Ohio tomorrow. This is being repeated in the tens of thousands. The Deaniacs from last January, including me, are now Kerryiacs and just as committed.
