I am amazed at how extrospective americans can be, judging by the polls. Bush should be dying in this election, and yet, there he is in the game, arguing that this obviously elective war is justified. And Cheney...what can you say about this man that has not already?

I think its hard for us to understand but a lot of important myths for the right are threatened in this election. Its like my cousin blaming the Dems. for no malpractice reform in the past for years when both the Congress and the presidency are ruled by the GOP. Initially, he didn't know what to say when I corrected his understanding of the situation but then rattled on about how the Dems. had corrupted some of the GOP.

This is the right's last hurrah........and they are desperate to get it right. If Bush goes down to defeat, the GOP will be in for some struggles.
