Not that I agree with the characterization, but even allowing for it leads back to the same thing: What should SI do differently? Eliminate the PM feature? I doubt that would be very popular.

On the old system, users had the option to make that election for themselves on both a global level (I don't want any PMs) and at the individual level (Ignore this user). The same will be true here once they are coded. That seems to be the correct approach; let everyone decide for themselves.
