I really do tend to avoid the networks nowadays. And I never watch the news. What's the point? the fine art of reporting is gone. It's all about spin and sensationalism.

And the political advertising has taken and insidious turn. My wife was watching one of the entertainment maganzine programs the other evening. And in the spirit of product placement advertising, guess who the celebrity was who they were talking about? yup, you guessed it....John Kerry.
