Isn't that great! The religious wingnuts got their butts handed to them! Hats off to the voters of India, many of whom may not even be literate but display an understanding of the issues that many in the US are incapable of! :-(

Btw, I heard that the religious right in India got screwed again -- in a provincial state-level election a few months later.
