The connection to the White House is simple and straight forward. So simple that even the great masses of TV viewing news watchers will understand it when it is laid out for them.

Assertion: No plan to secure the "weapons of mass destruction"

Evidence: Supplied, more to come no doubt. Evidence shows there was no on the ground plan, certainly not for weeks. Instead, scoring points on video for the folks at home was the prime directive. Topple Saddam's statue, that kind of crap.

Link to Bush:

- Several reports have it that Bush sat in over TWENTY run throughs of the war plan as it took shape. You'd expect that of the Commander In Chief.

The Commander In Chief, briefed many times on the plan -- the plan with no focus on securing "weapons of mass destruction" for weeks, months after the onset of war -- approved the plan anyway.

Yes, the buck will stop there...

(PS: the buck is in free fall too)
