Too bad.

The logic behind the story nonetheless seems good. However, it's a story not driven by logic but by facts. Until someone can come forward and say from personal knowledge that JFK2 did not get an honorable discharge, and can supply solid evidence to support the assertion, all the logic in the world isn't going to help.

Particularly since the war hero won't sign a form allowing disclosure.
