This guy is the only one on SI that I am actually afraid of. Mainly because he accurately described some places that I know. Sign seen in an "A" Team meeting room... "Just because they are after you, doesn't mean you are paranoid."

I know where Ray lives, or at least used to live. We used to yadda-yadda on the phone and I have caller ID. Can't figure out what happened to Ray. He's a very bright guy. My working hypothesis, based on observation of men I know well, is that men get weirder as they get older. Weirder than women do, anyway. Women lose their looks, men lose their minds. No offense is intended by this, although I am sure it will be taken. He was pretty much OK IMO until the 2000 election finally came to a halt in December when the Supreme Court decided Bush vs. Gore in favor of Bush, then he went off his rocker. Kind of like Bilow and the war in Iraq. And some other people I know who were absolutely convinced that the Tech Wreck would cause another Great Depression. It seems like not having their idees fixee come true is more than they can handle and they go all Unabomber 'n' stuff.
