Separation of Church and State

Hmmm now there's a novel idea.
Something our country was founded on.

That's a good enough reason for me to vote for him.

Huh, where have you been.... Jerry Kerry has stated that he is a strong proponent of abortion, especially partial birth abortion.

Even the church has scolded him about his beliefs which are against the Catholic church.

Thats not really the case. He doesn't like abortion as a means of birth control but he supports a womans right to choose. It's a pretty weak stand. I'm a republican and I too think abortion is a rotten means of birth control. I accept it in the case of rape and safety of the mother. Partial birth abortion is a NO GO! Wouldn't allow it. If the last vote on wether abortion was legal or not fell on my shoulders I would keep it legal. But my response to the whiners I see about how they feel "judged" is that it comes with the decision. By nature abortion does not work with most peoples core values. Anytime you do something that violates your core values you can expect an inner struggle. That inner struggle is earned when people make decisions. So is judgement from others who don't agree. We may not like how it feels but its a fact of life. So abort all you wish but don't expect society to be compassionate when you make a questionable moral decision. It just doesn't work that way

I'm Catholic. Kerry doesn't support abortion. He supports separation of Church and State.

He doesn't encourage abortion but he respects a woman's right to choose.
