Are you saying he is advocating interest bearing bonds for stem cell research? Might not be a bad idea, remember there is nothing currently ILLEGAL about stem cell research, only GOVT FUNDING of EMBRYONIC stem cell research. Incidentally Pres. Bush is the FIRST President to fund ANY stem cell research. As to another persons reply to your post, my son IS working on his PHD in BioTech. My son is going to John Hopkins and is also working and funded by the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH (largest and most prestigious research lab in the world). My son tells me that they have all the stem cells they need at this time, to date NOTHING has proven to be useful from stem cells and they have ALL THEY CURRENTLY NEED for their research. He thinks Kerry's statements are TOTALLY OUT OF LINE with reality and sort of resents Kerry playing off peoples EMOTIONS giving them FALSE PROMISES. I trust my son, who is widely respected AND PUBLISHED in the most PRESTIGIOUS MEDICAL JOURNALS. jdn
