Greenspan has made some terrible mistakes. They've gone both ways and now I think he has us boxed in with low rates. Until the credit bubble is reduced (god forbid popped) rates can't go up or we'll have a housing issue that could send us into a depression. We as a culture have lived beyond our means and thats what I mean by the population being willing to hear some bad news. Hard work a new savings ethic and less personal spending are the only things that can stave off a global depression. And that my friend is not on Bush......this goes back a long way!

I agree ... Greenspan is more dangerous to the world .....

.......... than bin Laden. So is Bush, for that matter.
