Truly fascinating site. No wonder Kenneth doesn't want to mention it now. Whoever did this site has done a a lot of work and is to be commended.

Looking at Virginia stats------this is my reading on Virginia---------Virginia has been targeted by the Dems on two levels----in the populous Northern Virginia----and via the 10th District race.

Congressman Frank Wolf has been targeted by California Carpet bagger Socas. Socas rented a place this year and still owns his residence in Calif. He has his own money to bring to the campaign------sure sounds familiar. (He is being referred to as the California Carpetbagger-----Virginians truly don't like outsiders coming in to the state to buy elections. There is no doubt that 10th district voters will send Socas packing.)

Actually I think that Socas campaign will likely have the opposite effect of what was intended-----more voters will come out to support Wolf and Bush.Wolf usually wins in the 60% range.

While the target is ostensibily Congressman Wolf-----however, in reality I believe that Socas'target is Bush---- as he is working to discredit Wolf's tenure with untruths and bring out more voters who would vote against Wolf and thereby also vote for Kerry.

Wolf is likely the most respected Congressman in Congress. Wolf's work on transportation including Dulles Airport, humanitarian questions, crime and his support of government workers has earned him this respect. Rare in any field of endeavor is Wolf who is still married to the same woman and
has a family that they have sucessfully raised and educated.

Wolf is no pollyanna----he grew up in Philadelphia with a father who was on the police force. Given this background he has taken the lead in working on crime and gang issues in Northern Viriginia and Virginia.

This has been a very nasty campaign on the airwaves----Socas began by attacking Wolf-----and Wolf's campaign is now giving
Socas as good as he gives. No doubt it will become more so on Socas' part before election day.

Now if there are any Californians here-----this is not a criticism of you and your beautiful state-----actually one of
my favorites------this is about a man coming in from out of state to buy an election and at the same time giving support to his party's candidate for Pres.

Electoral-vote.com is a great site. I find the votemaster quite fair and balanced <g>.

He points out in his commentary that the polls are not in agreement in the key states, and that his projection is fluid (my word, not his). So, things can change....and will, one way or the other. He has also pointed out many times that the 2000 final polls really got things wrong...a few were close, many missed by four to five percent in the popular vote.

By the way, the identity of the Votemaster has been a secret. He is coming out of the closet on Monday, and he says some will be quite surprised...I guess he has quite a following.
