He may have subtle references to divide us into states but we have to be united in this war.

When I said it was a bullshit statement..

I believe his intentions are to kill every non-Muslum on this planet..

He needs to divide the world, look where we stand with other nations. Is he succeeding in making other nations choose sides ?

MJ, the proper translation should have been "country".

Referring to nations as states is very common overseas, which is why the translator neglected to say "country". They could certainly get a better translator, for sure. There was another translation error.

The "our" isn't a reference to AlQ, but a reference to Muslim countries. Without asking for their vote, he has decided to be the leader to protect all Muslim countries from what he says is Israel and USA policy towards Israel against Muslim countries. But the Muslim countries certainly don't want him to be their leader, and that's why he lives in Afghanistan. He should grind his ax on his real issue the "corrupt Arab" countries (his quote), rather than displacing it entirely onto the USA. He is saying he struck the Twin towers because he was exacting out an identical attack made on Lebanon's towers in 1982 by Israel with USA fleet support. Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. What a vicious circle. bin Laden claims the violent cycle will end if we change our USA policy towards Israel to be one where we do not support Israel's attacks on Muslim countries.

The culture over there is, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. I don't think people here in the USA realize how that runs real deep. Centuries deep. Wish we never got involved back in the 80's like we apparently did. A vicious cycle of violence. Sometimes I simply wish we weren't so loudly and verbally supportive of bulldozing buildings/people. Canada is looking better every day.

If they target 100,000 murders in the USA, my guess that would be a dirty bomb. Which city do you think they would attack?

Regards,
Amy J
