Up here, a lot of people are using the kinds of greenhouses that are seen in Holland.

And what are those?

Tomatoes are fetching $4 a lb here right now, that ought to pay for a greenhouse pretty quickly.

I recently read an article about a couple of bachelor brothers who still farm using mules. They're in their 80s, and the only time they have lived outside of their West Virginia valley was when they served in WWII. Every year they plant a big garden, and put up enough vegetables and fruit to feed themselves throughout the winter. The farm has been in their family for generations.
