EP,

I find it easier if I imagine this a movie (perhaps not an Oscar-winning movie) that I watch with a certain degree of disinterest, detachment. The characters are all miscast: the imposters are running industry and gov't, intelligent people who can see there is more than one side to an issue can't get a word in edgewise.

But if I allow myself to be drawn too deeply into this movie I think it will scare me, so I busy myself with activities that distract myself, just coming back every once and awhile to check if the characters haven't started blowing themselves up yet. The ending of the movie is inevitable, but I hang around just to find out who, what, where, when, how, and why.

It is a long movie, so when I'm tired, I'll hit the 'pause' button, sleep, and continue in the morning.

This is the only way I can get through and stay sane (you all may already think I'm gone, ha ha)
