"Karl Rove is at his most formidable when running close races, and his skills would be notable even if he used no extreme methods. But he does use them. His campaign history shows his willingness, when challenged, to employ savage tactics" by Joshua Green Green, in discussing the 2000 election, forgets to mention the Dems suppressing the military votes and encouraging 30,000 New Yorkers to vote in Florida as well. Michael Savage might be upset at the use of his name this way. RB
