David, the conservation started because I was genuinely curious why you felt Bush was intelligent. Bush is not known to be intelligent and I do not know any Democrats or Republcans that think he is intelligent, so was genuinely curious in your answer. "Bush is not known to be intelligent"? Please tell me how you know this. INTELLIGENT people can provide links to support their position. INTELLIGENT people will provide links from CREDIBLE sources who can support their positions. Anybody can call anyone stupid. Showing it to be fact is a different matter; in this case, it would require one to overcome a TON of powerful evidence to the contrary. If you're so smart, then provide us with a credible link that supports your supposition that Bush is smart? One solid, credible, straightforward link.......his IQ is blank blank blank or he got all A's at Yale or he graduated number one in his class at Harvard.......would clear up this discussion in no time flat. We're waiting on you, o wise one! Chop, chop!

Am getting an impression if someone acts and talks like Bush, you might automatically think they are intelligent and honest - based upon their personality rather than results and evidence. Maybe this isn't the case, but you still haven't provided the evidence to prove Bush is intelligent. Come on David, everyone knows Bush isn't intelligent. Even Republicans. You might be on the right track here. Bush isn't so much unintelligent as he is anti-intellectual. That's why his SAT scores are much more impressive than his grades. He despises curiousity, learning, and contemplation. He loves dogma and reaction. By the way, you demonstrate your own ignorance of higher education in America when you tout Bush's graduation from Yale as an achievement. Graduating from an Ivy League school is significantly easier than gaining admission. And make no mistake: Bush graduated, nothing more. Tom
