Unfortunately you don't much of a chance to debate someones opinions or beliefs on these threads. Many, but not all of the neocons who come to post here have only one intention. That is to twist, bend and create facts to suit there needs in order to discourage other posters from coming here to post at all....

The GOP is dead ... It's been hijacked by fanatics .....

.......... It's now the Party of Fear and Paranoia. It has enough support to remain on the far right wing. They just need to recruit a better front man. Warmongers, fascists, Christian fundamentalists, anti-abortionists, gun zealots, and other assorted morons are sufficient to keep alive the new GOP's extremism.

Any traditional Republican should be happy with the direction of the current Democratic Party. It is quite centrist. Clinton was heavily tied to Wall Street interests and fiscal responsibility. Kerry is totally aware of the mood of the nation. I'm sure traditional Republicans will be happy with the upcoming Kerry administration.
