And US selling state of the art nuclear power plant technology to China. So do Germany and France selling theirs to China. Iran gets its nuclear power plant and fuel technology from Russia.

re Iran nuclear power program.

I read somewhere, about six months ago, that Iran had done a study that showed they were at, or maybe past, peak oil domestically and that Iran would be a net importer of oil within 10 years. That supposedly triggered the move to nuclear power. I don't know the source or reliability of that information.
