Written from the perspective of George Washington, Tom Paine and our founding fathers this sentence would read thus: Imperial forces, sworn to enforce colonialism, yet again pounded our loyal freedom fighters on the outskirts of our home city. The immoral foreign enemy was gearing up for major genocide of our innocent women and children in a heinous grab at our resources, redounding with the same sort of genocidal zeal that extirpated native populations from the Adirondacks to Kahokia to the Black Hills and the Trail of Tears. This war of extirpation, this genocide, this crime against humanity shall not stand. Tear down this army, Mr. Kerry! Of course, Ronnie Raygun would be delighted to be in on the slaughter.
