Americans have the right to vote.

In America that means each voter gets to decide who to vote for.

It also means each voter decides on his or her own timetable.

Votes are rated 1 for 1. Nobody checks the time line on votes as long as they are cast within the legal time frame.

kumar, At last, I totally agree with your post. An election is nothing to be "impulsive" about. The line in the sand was drawn months ago, and all who really care, should have already chosen sides.

Also, there are some people that, even if they have made up their minds, should not be allowed to vote. They have a history of voting for a candidate for all the wrong, or insignificant, reasons.
