I find the EU commission and parliament a bit removed from proper representation let alone ruling power.

For example does Hungary or Lithuania have the same representation as one of the "Bundeslands" of the German Federal Republic ? or Spain, France of Italy or is the parliament tilted toward the smaller countries ?

Or it is like in the US that California and Alaska or Vermont were we have the same representation in the Senate by two Senators for each state regardless of population ?

I found it odd that some one from Hungary with no real experience in the energy field should set EU energy policy
