Something in there, somewhere, rules out catfish. I've heard it is because they are scavengers.

Catfish don't have scales, but neither do shark, tuna, striped bass or trout. Maybe the bass and trout get thrown out because they eat bugs. Then again, maybe they didn't have bass and trout in the ME 5,000 years ago.

Too puzzling. It's a little awkward taking Leviticus 11 to a restaurant.
