Produce has gone through the roof lately. I'll be interested in those greenhouses, too. :) Yes, it would be here if not for the amount of local produce that is still available (potatoes and other root vegetables, squash, cabbage, broccoli, etc.. and apples). Fifty pound bags of potatoes have been on sale at our local fresh market for $5.49 a bag, and Yukon Gold potatoes (my favourite), have been $8.49, so we bought a couple of bags and stuck one down in the cellar. Have done the same with some other root vegetables and squash. I'm a vegetarian and Mr. Croc is close-to, so fresh vegetables do matter a lot to us as we cook just about everything we eat from scratch. The growth in the greenhouse industry is very nice to see as we used to have to rely on produce from other places during the winter months. With increasing fuel costs, I think it's a lot more cost-effective to be growing produce instead of importing. Again, the quality level is changing so much that it's no great hardship to be eating hydroponic lettuce, cukes, basil, tomatoes, etc.. anymore. And they told me I could come for rocks. That was the worst for me... I didn't have time to get my rocks. lol. Seems to be working out great, though, which is pleasing. Hey! That would be pleasing to me too! Personally, I would be rather perturbed if I didn't get to take my rocks along if I moved. We've already been discussing "the rocks" as we may well be moving in another year or so. No ifs, ands, or buts... "the Rocks" are coming with us. (o: croc
