I agree, jrhana. And let's not forget Claude's great track record.

Claude selects stocks based on their valuations and potential. It is virtually impossible to own all of them. Not even Claude himself could (or should) own all
Ormetal recommendations at once.

Imagine if GOZ or INM represented 30% of one's portfolio at the start of 2004. Should CC be at fault here because both stocks took a 50+% hit during the correction?

The bottom line is we as investors should take full responsibility for all our actions in the investment world. Sometimes we get lucky, other times we get swindled by some idiot advisor or broker. But hopefully we all get educated in the end.

I'm just glad that we have someone as honest and knowledgeable as Claude to point us in the right direction.

John

<I remember you stated something about how your reputation <would suffer if CKG does not accomplish it's goals.

It would be normal.. it is my favorite company by far and the one I would suggest if one could buy only one stock. So If I am wrong, I will have to take it on the chin.

> I personally would hope that everyone buying or holding CKG > would realize that it is a risky venture with absolutely no > guarantees but the potential of a large payoff. If it does
> not do well, I would blame only myself for investing because > I made my own decision to make it one of largest holdings.

I agree and I did not say that I should be blamed. I don't think so because I try very much to describe all the risks and potential as they exist. Still, if the company does not do well, when others do well, then my selection was wrong. Under such circumstances, it would be normal for my reputation to be tarnished, no matter what it is at the moment.

<In fact my own investigation (along with my broker's) led me <to make the investment. Your endorsement was comforting but <not crucial.

Glad to know that some investors really do their own DD. Many don't even bother.

>I will not blame you if CKG fails because actually all stocks >are risky.

No doubt..all stocks are risky. Some simply have better odds.

>I think Gold Money is entirely different. It seems to me that >you have vouched for the integrity of Gold Money.

Yes I did.

>That in fact the risk of Gold Money is in fact the same (or >very nearly the same) as the risk of holding gold bullion.

Not exactly. GoldMoney is far less risky than holding gold bullion under your pillow. <g>
