Charities have always been more efficient than Governments. There is much less red tape and cost involved although there have been some scams. I feel much better about giving to a church than I do about giving money to a government who hasn't even been able to manage SS.

I'm not asking for a pat on the back. Sounds like you have a problem with my desire to give to targeted charities. That smacks of a guy who wants to reallocate wealth. Thats not the way it should be.....we should help the needy. It's not my job or obligation to give part of my income to people that make less than I do. It is my job and obligation to help those who can't help themselves - big difference.

I couldn't help but notice how many names you call people when I looked at your posting list. Thats not cool unless its in fun which yours were not. People ought to put posters like you on ignore until the tenor is changed.
