The meter only moves backwards when you have a meter. I have a lot of off-the-grid friends who rely on solar with a number of batteries.

I'm thinking maybe it is time to finally get a system. I'd like to plug my rainy season creek into it, too. That is energy 24/7, for 6-8 months.

My only concern is that, in plugging into the grid, could well end up with the building inspectors, followed by the tax man, paying me a visit.
