When we started Operation Iraqi Freedom we had about 9,500 troops in Afghanistan, and by the time we finished major combat operations in Iraq last May we had more than 10,000 troops in Afghanistan.


Franks should have had 100,000 troops in Afganistan and caught Al Qaeda before he even thought about Iraq.

On Kerry, you are smearing him for supporting the troops and the same day you smear him for not supporting the troops. And I don't blame Franks; I blame the guy setting the agenda.

Getting bin Laden and the al Qaeda leadership was 90% of the war on terror; we should have done everything to accomplish that goal. And now we see bin Laden, alive and well and mocking President Bush on TV for his reaction to 9/11.

Don't you find that disgusting?
