Would you succeed in life if you attended 1/4 of your meetings?

Didn't George "succeed" in the National Guard while showing up for less than 1/4 of his days? I wonder what % of classes George showed up for at Yale while succeeding in obtaining his C average?

>How many Senator can count less than two pieces of legislation per term (other than honoring someone) to their names?

Probably plenty. I haven't seen the numbers...

>Would you succeed in life if you attended 1/4 of your meetings? Would you go to a doctor, lawyer or grocer who was that lax?

When you run for President, you tend to concentrate most of your time on that. Bush certainly has.

>about the ideas. There is usually an element of Democrat versus Republican. In my life I have never seen any period of four years with as much hate spewing forth as from the Democrats since President Bush was elected.

And have you ever seen as much Democrat-baiting by the Republicans?

>There is reason the founding fathers only allowed property owners to vote. They were more invested in the outcome. It is interesting that investors prefer President Bush

Because they're wealthy! Wealthy people tend to prefer people who will cut their taxes!

In my life I have never seen any period of four years with as much hate spewing forth as from the Democrats since President Bush was elected.

I have seen much more hate. Example: people in the media talking about Al Qaeda. I notice you don't accuse them of being hate-mongers.

Sometimes it is about the ideas. There is usually an element of Democrat versus Republican. In my life I have never seen any period of four years with as much hate spewing forth as from the Democrats since President Bush was elected.

And that hate is echoed throughout the world. That should tell you something but instead you all make up excuses to explain it away. Two years ago, this is what an MP in Parliament who was from Tony Blair's party had to say about Bush.......surprisingly, its more apt now than it then:

"''Bush, himself the most intellectually backward American president of my political lifetime, is surrounded by advisers whose bellicosity is exceeded only by their political, military and diplomatic illiteracy,'' Kaufman wrote."
