Suppose that the U.S. and Canada agreed to merge. Maybe then the scales would fall from Malcolm's eyes and he would suddenly see the value of getting two senators for each Canadian province or territory that becomes a state! <ggg>

P.S. Perhaps the Maritime Provinces should be combined into one state.
