the fact that grace is ignored by 15 people is a testament to ignorance itself. the fact that she's banned from 2 forums is probably proof that her arguments were defeating her opponents (most likely the thread owner) since i've never seen her say anything that should make her the legitimate target of a ban.

I would have thought I'd have provoked far more controversy than that! I never could understand putting critics on ignore. I find that debates with people I disagree with are far more thought provoking than conversations with those with whom I agree. It isn't easy or necessarily pleasant to have someone react in a negative way to something you write, but it does help you clarify your position when you have to defend it. And sometimes you are WRONG and it is almost never that it is a friend who will tell you, even though, in a perfect world, a friend would make it their sworn duty to do so.
