As a perfect example what I said (your head is in the sand), you don't address my post.

The mass media are hardly reporting American atrocities at all, because the media have a strong right-wing pro-war bias.

The important factor is who owns the media, not who is the talking head. The media is overwhelmingly conservative. There are cases of an anti-neocon bias.

New York Times Executive Editor Howell Raines has consistently and aggressively promoted liberal policies throughout his career

So, sticking to the topic at hand, Iraq: An unbiased and insightful media outlet would have reported that all of the people who were claiming Saddam had WMD and was a threat had a long history of lying. Every time something came up, this would have been emphasized. "Wolfowitz says Saddam is a threat, but Wolfowitz has a long, documented history of lying to promote aggressive military actions" is how the stories would have been reported by an unbiased media. In reality, NY Times' Judith Miller was one of the main conduits of Neocon propaganda during the pre-war period! And she presented the stories as factual.

It is easy for you to pretend that the media don't have a liberal bias. You simply proclaim any non fringe leftwing source as "out of the liberal mainstream

If we started posting the left wing equivalent of the NRO or Fox News, you would truly freak out. The NY Times and CNN are mild by comparison.
