Joe, to be sure, the Cronkite comment was meant to be taken in jest. If anything, it's an admission that people trust Bush more with the war on terror than Kerry.

Even JF admitted as much, even if he personally (and vehemently) disagrees.

No, there were a some people who came out against Bush that I would have liked to be with Bush.

But a person (Cronkite) who said that Rove orchestrated the Bin Laden tape is certifiable.


Is it? Doesn't it depend on whether Rove is as Machiavellian as many contend? Certainly, the Texans on this thread who have the most experience with him and his politics think he's capable.
