yes. That's exactly what I am suggesting. They are both convinced they are absolutely right- and they are willing to do just about anything to further their causes, civilians of the world be damned. 100,000 dead in Iraq so far- according the the Lancet- and that's the middle of the range- they didn't even count Falluja- since the numbers there were so high. Nothing is more evil, imo, than a man absolutely intent on a "righteous" cause, and willing to disregard extraneous facts, which get in the way of his cause,- and willing to pursue the cause at the expense of hapless humans who get in the way, because the cause is so "important".
