Granted that estimate cannnot be accurate. But just how many civilian deaths are acceptable before we say this is entirely unacceptable. By some more reliqable estimates we are already up to 16-20K. Do we, like, say 25001 is one too many? We are destroying Iraq in order to "save" it by some tortured neocon definition of what's the "right" thing to do. And what if Iraq descends into civil war, not out of the question at all, the results will dwarf what has happened so far and the blood will be on Cheney and Wolfowitz' hands.
