Read earlier a good analysis -- Kerry has no chance of advancing any of his agenda except in foreign policy arena and regulatory arena, both of which are within the control of the Presidency.

Unlike other countries, a President cannot unilaterally execute enforceable treaties, they must be approved by the Senate. And the Senate must confirm appointments to the federal judiciary.

Many Republican fears are impossible -- for example, putting Hillary on the Supreme Court. I can't recall anybody ever being placed on that court without prior experience on a lower court, but I am sure pretty sure Hillary doesn't want to be a judge anyway. She'd rather be President.

But Kerry could really hurt us in places like Iraq and Israel.
