Kerry won't need the draft because he is not a war monger like Bush is. He will not alienate our allies like Bush has.

Bill, what do you think has already happened to the morale of the military when they ride in Humvees which are death traps and are issued Viet Nam era M-16s.

What happens to morale when our soldiers discover the insurgents have infiltrated the ranks of the Iraqi military?

This is a more accurate representation than that 80% bs., it also correlates with my experience.

Probably morale will go up when they get their "come home now" papers and can leave that miserable country.

A smart military person would put his vote to Kerry - someone who has actually served his country in active military duty.

Obviously, if the Commandeer in Chief were a traitor like Kerry, morale would sink below the low level during Clinton's terms in office. The career officers would be biding their time for twenty, and exit the service in a New York minute.

The military could never respect Kerry. Kerry would slash the military budget, and prevent any pay increases from going through. The only way to get 40,000 extra troops which Kerry claims he will commit is through the draft.

His statements that he thinks dieing under the UN flag is honorable, but not under the US flag would be an ever present reminder of where his head is. If Kerry stretches, he can see beyond the sphincter.
