When I lived in Africa, where peanuts are called ground nuts, and are really really good, we'd been eating them for a year at least before someone at the Embassy told us, in horror, not to because they might be infested with a toxic fungus. It occurs to me that I should have asked if it could have been killed by roasting them.

If I saw an article I don't remember it, but I haven't seen everything posted.

Grainne, from being out of practice, you're sometimes posting to yourself. I've seen it twice. I think that happens when you read a reply to a post of yours and click back to your own post to remind yourself of what the reply is to, and then type a Reply w/o backing up to the post that had been made to you. Simple phenomenon, complicated to explain.

potent liquids
Yeah, and I'll bet those potent liquids kill you faster than the peanuts do! :-)
