If the plan was flawed we would have lost entire divisions and wings of aircraft and tens of thousands of soldiers. Thats a disaster. It Didn't happen and isn't going to happen. A few thousand criminals cannot stop free elections in January period.

First, we have little if any experience in colonialism. We have none in recent history.

Second, you always neglect to mention the facts that are not convenient to your argument. Turkey gave permission for our troops to debark, then retracted it. We would have had many more troops on day one if Turkey had not done that.
