Well Bush picked Rummy and I believe he was the real buck stops wisdom that got the Milatary to achieve tactically and strategically so well. I do not believe any person picked by Gore would be 1/3 of a Rummy. In fact, I'm not certain Afghanistan would not still be under the Taliban as Jimmy Carter would be still talking with them about turning over binnie. And jimmie would only be agreeing to give then 5 breeder nuclear reactors with fuel. Gore has presented himself as a nut case since his defeat in 2000. He swap spit moment with his wife clued me in long before his more recent demented conduct. 418 plus murders in just one city. Think about it. Dead is dead. Dead is not disengenuous. It takes time for a central governement to rebuilt a known loyal military and other security forces. The efficient use of limited resources that turned Afghanistan is very bery impressive.
