The Buchanan wing may call themselves conservative, but they no longer follow the vision of Ronald Reagan. Conservatives who put their head in the sand and pretend we can build walls around America are not real conservatives.

This war in Iraq will end. When it does the world will have more liberty and more freedom. Conservatives value the spreading of liberty and freedom.

But the larger point is John Kerry will do nothing to change the agenda in Iraq going forward except embolden the terrorists, and destroy the morale of our troops. Terrorists are in Iraq, and it's false to believe one person, or one group of fascist militant terrorists threaten us with another 9/11. George Bush understands that, so did the American Congress when they voted to remove Saddam from power.

The rest of his agenda is so far from conservative ideals it's disturbing.

>>>hold his nose and vote for Kerry<<<

I suppose a number of us will be holding our noses today. There are a number of reasons I will be voting against Mr. Bush this morning. However, I only need one. That one reason is the fact that Mr. bin Laden and Mr. Al-Zawahiri are alive.
